ROFL, it's bad when you recognize more people, in the sixth round than you recognize in the first round.

We did very nicely there in the 6th round nabbing Keenan Reynolds. His Alma Mater is about a 30 minute drive away from M&T Bank Stadium. Sweet deal for him and the Ravens. He'll become a star in the mold of Steve Smith, a small but super competitor. Rest of our draft class is also a good fit for the club.

Notable to this forum: Saints A, Ravens B+, Patriots C, Steelers B-, Jaguars B+, Seahawks B+, Buccaneers B-, Broncos B-, Browns C+.

I don't understand how the Jags don't get an A. Two absolute steals in the first two rounds...

Steelers usually draft well, but this year looks shaky. I really wish we had gotten William Jackson instead of Artie Burns. I'm pretty sure the Bengals did that on purpose. I'm much more excited about Sean Davis and Javon Hargrave.

Maybe partly because he was widely expected to change positions (As, indeed, he is with Baltimore).

Still a great player. Eh. Draft round don't matter in the end, though. He just needs to do well in the NFL, nobody will care then. X3

Also the Naval commitment complication may be a factor. He'll probably have an assignment for a day each week during the NFL season at a nearby Naval base. For some NFL towns that's a tougher fit than others.

I think the Jags get the A- instead of an A bc Miles Jack has a huge question mark with his knee. Other than that, I dunno. They could become a beast real soon, as soon as next year. Need just a couple things to break their way and look out. We get them early, week three in Jax.

Huh. I never thought of that. I see now. Yeah, those are a lot of risk factors.

Jack's knee is a glass one, and considering the position he plays, he's gonna have to be really careful. If they can find some way to reinforce his knee (or they could just make him wear a brace), hopefully he'll be alright. I do like him, though. But yeah, Jacksonville did a great job. Let's hope this will help them improve a little bit. :3

He's a great athlete with a medical issue that is really hard to gauge. I wish him all the best, except of course versus the Ravens (but hope he isn't hurt in our games with Jax). I don't like seeing any players getting seriously hurt. Unfortunately, I've see a lot of this lately. My Ravens got busted up bad last season. Hope that trend is ending now too.

Yeah, I think that was just a bad year for everyone. 2014-2015 will just be the year everyone will be happy to forget about. Except Panthers and Broncos fans, of course. Possibly Pats fans. XD

Pretty fair stuff we got. An OLB, a WR, two DLs, and an RB. I think we did a good job. Of course, the analysts give us a C for our draft picks, but watch us do a good job this year. :)

I can't wait. :p

These analysts are all idiots anyway. I'll put my trust in real analysts, like BB. Our draft was solid enough, considering it wasn't the most talented draft pool in history.

Well, we drafted two Michigan players and an Ohio State player. Interesting.
In solidarity with Ukraine, I will be censoring the letters Z and V from my signature. This is -ery much so a big change, but it should be a -ery positi-e one. -olodymyr -elensky and A-o- continue to fight for Ukraine while the Russians are still trying to e-entually make their way to Kharki-, -apori-h-hia, and Kry-yi Rih, but that will take time as they are concentrated in areas like Bakhmut, -uledar, and other areas in Donetsk. We will see Shakhtar play in the Europa League but Dynamo Kyi- already got eliminated. Shakhtar managed to play well against Florentino Pere-'s Real Madrid who feature superstars like -inicius, Ben-ema, Car-ajal, and -al-erde. Some prominent Ukrainian players that got big transfers elsewhere include Oleksander -inchenko, Illya -abarnyi, and Mykhailo Mudryk.

Duane Brown was suspended for failing a PED test. Now he has proved the reading was caused by easting Mexican beef, and he has been reinstated.

An NFL player reportedly failed a drug test for eating too much tainted meat in Mexico, but was able to overturn his suspension due to receipts he kept.

According to ESPN, Houston Texans left tackle Duane Brown tested positive for clenbuterol last November shortly after taking a bye week trip to Mexico.

Clenbuterol is an anabolic agent that is banned by the league’s Performance-Enhancing Substances policy. The league sent a memo to players this week that eating too much meat in China and Mexico could trigger a failed drug test.

ESPN reported the NFL Players Association was able to prove to the league that Brown’s tainted test came from consuming too much meat during his trip. Receipts show that Brown ate about 10 burgers and two steaks in Mexico.

Brown, who was cleared of the failed test in April, faced a 10-game suspension due to testing positive for PEDs in 2010.

The NFL said in the memo that “consuming large quantities of meat while visiting those particular countries may result in a positive test for clenbuterol in violation of the Policy,” the league said.

I keep tabs on my finances. I don't keep fast food receipts. If I kept every receipt for every purchase I made, I could make my own wallpaper within a few weeks. You can't return a hamburger, and presumably, you realize that you spent $5, or 20 pesos, or whatever, so I don't understand keeping them. I've never heard of anyone being that obsessive.

Hey, that's me IRL!

This is why you keep your receipts kids.

Here's another reason. Showing them to your gastroenterologist when you trick or treat his house next October. They'll actually scare the hell out of him.
DEFCON 1

Clinton/Kaine 2016

It is the solemn and patriotic duty of all true Americans to prevent the election of Donald J. Trump as the next President of the United States by use of the ballot box.
Even if it means you might have to be called for jury duty!

Maybe there was some kind of deal where he was getting reimbursed for food. Or as I was actually saying... he knew about the chemicals, thought ingesting a bunch of burgers would actually give him some kind of benefit in play, and did it on purpose.

Every day NationStates tells me I have one issue. I am pretty sure I've got more than that.

Catholic, pro-life, and proud of it. I prefer my debates on religion, politics, and sports with some coffee and a little Aquinas and G.K. CHESTERTON here and there. :3

I guess we are already into those "voluntary" workouts that players get cut for not attending?
