Edelman and Amendola are underrated, and especially a former seven-round pick like Edelman is vastly underrated compared to the top receivers. Seattle's secondary was still good even with Simon.

The interesting thing for me Being British is the attitude of the police, I think very few people here would accept the Police potentially putting thousands of other people in danger over what one person has done. So having been following the story for while I would be interested what people over the pond think. Also opinions on whether the NFL is or is not right to not have standing a league rule as I have seen a few people not happy at that. And finally whether the franchise is right to not take any action?

I would add all this national anthem stuff at sports games other than internationals is really weird to me. A few years ago when I was visiting my Uncle one time I saw Manchester United play Inter Milan in the US, the US national anthem was played before. Which was probably the most surreal experience in a sports stadium I have had, watching two teams from other countries with no US players start a match off with the American Anthem just because the game was in the US.

The whole episode is slightly bizarre to me. So getting a explanations from people from the culture would help me understand a bit better I think.

Police are supposed to protect and serve, period. Not "protect and serve those whom they like" not "protect and serve those they agree with." Just do it. They're only giving Kaepernick's claims more clout. They're potentially endangering thousands of people because one guy dared to criticize them. If they really want to prove him wrong, they'll act as if he never said anything and just do their job regardless.
