We'll see how good the LOB is against a top 5 QB of all time.

After he patted Crabtree in the ass and talked shit to him following the final play?

He patted him in the ass and tried to shake his hand.

I'm still rooting for Seattle, and will be happy when all the Bronco fans are butthurt after their record breaking offense crumbles before their very eyes.

But Russell Wilson, the man from Richmond VA, my hometown and where I currently live... Is a great guy. On and off the field. At least admit that.

Mine will consist of: The New York Knicks being my pallbearers so they can let me down one last time and then they'll throw the book Great Expectations down there with me "Here Lies Alex, and his Great Expectations for the Knicks"

You're correct here. One of the few redeeming qualities of the Seahawks is Russell Wilson. I also like the city itself, but the fans and most of the team is pretty annoying.

I wouldn't pick Blount as best of all time. To be the best of all time, one's skill set has to transcend all eras of the game—Blount would probably be burned on a daily basis in this day and age.

that's what they say about all the old players. But give them modern day training regimes and watch them supersede what they did in the past

Y'know what? I'm so spiteful and vindictive about the Seacraps' win last night, that even though I hate the Broncos for beating out the Patriots, I'm gonna support them in the Superbowl.

Jim Brown is indubitably the best running back of all time, because his style of running can translate into the modern day just as it was so great in the days he actually played. There's almost no controversy, Brown was the best running back ever to play pro football.

Similarly, a quarterback like Warren Moon or Joe Montana would be able to function in the modern game, assuming they were of playing age. Their play styles would be very well-supported by the modern game. That's why they're considered such great quarterbacks.

Defensive backs pre-1978 are at a disadvantage in this regard, the pre-1978 rules allowed so much bullshit that it's nearly impossible to determine whether or not they could do well in the modern game.

I think had he not been injured at such an early stage in his career, you would be saying that about Bo Jackson. Dude was a superhuman monster.

Jackson for sure, and Marcus Allen was really good too. Of course, you can't ignore Barry Sanders in that conversation for the #2 spot.

I've always been a fan of the defensive side of pretty much all sports, but Bo always made me just kind of blink and say "How the fuck did he do that?" It was like watching Adrian Peterson running against Pee-Wee football players.
