Back in the 70s the Vikings didn't suck, the packers were terrible back then.

As a Minnesotan, you've just declared war. And of course this is personal. You insulted a team I yell and scream and throw beer cans at my TV over for sucking so bad. Nobody gets to talk shit about my team but me.

I'm so fucking psyched for next season. Lovie Smith, with Tedford as our OC? Here's hoping we pick Sammy Watkins in the first round, and maybe we'll be able to pick up Boyd in the second for good measure.

Glennon with Tedford is already delicious enough but I'm gaga over the possibility of Boyd working with Tedford. That's a potential HOF tandem.

It is indeed, but with Watkins there's no need for Hester.

The only thing I was wondering about, is how is the Tampa 2 Defense going to work there? I feel as if some of their players (Like Revis) would be wasted in that system. But that's just me.

Either way, I am interested to see how the Bucs do next season. A pretty good coaching staff, many core players (Martin, Goldson, McCoy, David, etc). The NFC South is about to get a whole lot tougher.

Smith does Cover 1 now, he did that for the last few years in Chicago and he says he intends on doing it in Tampa Bay.

I can dig it, Cover 1 is a nice system when you want to focus on man coverage rather than zone.

Ah, gotcha. I didn't really follow Lovie or the Bears too much.

Always a possibility, but I don't think the Panthers or Saints drop off, and hard to imagine that the Falcons don't end their skid.

Right now, the 'Birds are $27.5m under the cap.

Speaking as a fan of a team that was recently $40m under the cap I can assure you that if you're more than $5-$10m under the cap, you are lacking in talent.

Yeah, but he even runs it against pass-heavy teams like the Packers. It lost us a lot of games.

Lovie needs to learn to stop being so one-dimensional if he is going to be successful as a coach.

I remember one time on 3rd and long with the game on the line when he ran cover 1. I was watching it with my girlfriend. Before they even snapped the ball, I knew we were fucked. 30-yard completion to Driver, touchdown.

For me, history provides the answers. Each team with the highest scoring offense to reach the superbowl, lost the superbowl.

Each team with the highest scoring defense that reached the superbowl, won it all.

Ladies and gentlemen, I pick my local hero, Russell Wilson, and his Seattle sea hawks, to win the SB.

So... I assume after Sherman's douchebaggery last night, most of us (other than Seahawk fans) are rooting for Peyton, right?

Also, I'd like to introduce Richard to the best CB of all-time, who actually knows a thing or two about class.

http://extras.mnginteractive.com/live/media/site36/2013/1011/20131011__champ-bailey-broncos-101113b~p1.jpg

We'll see how good the LOB is against a top 5 QB of all time.
