Umm Texas does not teach creationism. I live in Texas and have gone to school in Texas most of my schooling, the most they do is in Wold History teach about different religions in an un-biased way from the text book and then in science teach the different theorys. In no way shape or form do they teach "God created the earth" or say "The big bang happened then evolution God isnt real" they teach what others think and let you make your own opinion like the rest of America. Schools arent allowed to teach anything else when it comes to that, unless it is a privet school then they can teach whatever they want.
so basically, they can teach you that illness is caused by witchcraft in health class. whether or not they teach anything else, how is this not a big problem.
also you are misusing the word theory, had they taught you actual science you might know that.
but I do agree the summer break is far to long.
Well no i wasnt saying that exactly, i was saying the only way a school could teach creationism as fact or evolution is if it were a privet school. And in science they had to teach the 3 theorys the big bang, the one where the universe grows then shrinks, and the one where its been the same as its always been. I understand where the confusion came from i should of worded it better. and yes the summer break is way too long my senior year is only half way over and second semester is where we actually learn calculas in pre-cal.
