It's widely accepted by young to middle age americans that evolution is true.
Dus Ex Machina or "god did it" doesn't fly as a reason with anyone born after 1985.

B. Proof we should abolish the shitty public school system.
C. Left-wing intolerance, "Well, 1/3 of Americans are idiots. They're what's wrong with America! Death to creationists!"
Yet another chapter in wacky tales of the left wing.

I do not in fact worship modern medicine; a lot of it is crap and the whole lot is much too costly.

It isn't proof of anything unless you've got the statistics to back it up.

Maybe if you read some of the other comments you'd understand what I meant for A and C, but B I can understand your ignorance of.
Very simply put, all school systems in all states are meant to indoctrinate the students with whatever ideology the government of that state has. For instance, Texas teaches creationism in its schools because the politicians like it. Curriculum is always left or right wing.

inb4 I'm an intolerant fuck, but when two thirds of the nation believe a story book over science, is that not a notable problem? Freedom of belief only goes so far you know, it might be a little different if they weren't going to pass their beliefs onto future generations.

There's nothing to say to A or C besides the fact that all you're really saying is rhetoric. That's it.
As for B, by that logic, any school, public or private, is therefore indoctrinal.

Yeah, but if I'm paying for the school, I don't want them to drill beliefs into my child's head (at least ones that I don't agree with).

You can't just go, "wait, their beliefs are wrong, this isn't what I meant".

Science is not a matter of belief. Gravity isn't something you "believe" in, so why should evolution be?
