No. Churches should have NO SAY in any law at all under any circumstances ever. Separation of church and state.
That's even worse than letting people vote each other's rights away.
A church shouldn't be forced to perform a ceremony they don't believe in. We already don't force catholic churches to host satanic animal sacrifices.
But letting them decide who can and can't have legal recognition is a terrible, terrible idea in so many ways I can't even describe.
