Nationalists are wing-nuts. They get ignored in Japan a lot as well.
Unfortunately, they are rather loud with their bloody sound trucks.

The US doesn't let Japan do anything. Japan is its own nation. In fact, the US has been pressuring Japan to rearm.
The Japanese people (You know, the population of said country whom are supposedly the ones in charge being a democracy and all) are very much opposed to scrapping Article 9.

Really? Never knew that, the Korean government shouldn't be so unreasonable in ways.
Still, I fear the International Court will end badly, I mean they have made mistakes before.
Given the current president has declared that she refuses to even talk...
It's pretty damn silly, really. Although I do understand she is in a tough situation politically given the previous president REALLY whipped up anti-Japanese feelings and her father was considered a collaborator with the Japanese occupation.

Either way, since Japan is beefing their military that should make us scale down (not fully leave) American bases in Japan.
Obviously, there are greater things, like inefficiency and bureaucracy of Medicaid and Medicare, the wars and overseas bases, a diminishing tax revenue due to outsourcing, and entitlements.

Etc.
But yeah, overseas bases don't really cost that much, well at least in Japan. Cause you know, the Japanese pay for the bases.

Her father was a collaborator, served for Manchukuo and Kwantung armies. Then he took an arrow to the knee and became Korean Dictator.
Still, I fear that South Korea will go nuts if they lose the Dokdo dispute, most likely entrench themselves at Dokdo, and then become a 2nd north korea.

I seriously doubt South Korea would become the 2nd North Korea. I mean, yes they are Conservative to a ridiculous degree but they aren't mad.

But does Japan full reimburse us for our expenses?
This relationship is financially draining America, and is a threat to Japanese sovereignty. Why can't we just be trade and cultural partners without spending money on needless weaponry?
