Hmm, well this simply sucks

Well, they seem to, for example, in Max Brooks book, World War Z (no, it is not like the film), a Japanese character simply states "the Ainu were the lowest caste in the Yamato Social structure, lower than even the Koreans." and plus this http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB1 ... 0250163826
more about nationalism than racism but still, racism towards Koreans grows even today
Plus the Koreans are outcasts in Japan, the main reason why the Yakuza recruits large numbers of them

Yes. The Japanese have unfavorable opinion of Koreans. But I think it's not because they think their inferior, but because they don't understand the South Korean-Japanese relations and why Koreans don't like Japan.

Well, I've talked to Japanese Nationalists on youtube, they called me "!@#$ing Korean" and "Korean Monkey", they do see us as inferior, maybe not on a public scale but more on a private scale, where they usually don't say it.
SK-Japanese Relations
The SK government keeps on ranting about the Japanese during ww2, and the SK is also insane in its quest to capture as many Japanese collaborators as possible, the Koreans hate the collaborators even more in ways than the Japanese.
Koreans mainly don't like the Japanese due to comfort women, and when they see stuff like japan increasing their military, they freak out thinking its back to the colonial age again. Some Koreans are in denial that they committed major crimes helping the Japanese.

Yes, but in a future where a regime crazy enough to launch a nuke exist and a neighbor forcing its claims over the whole sea, Japan needs to rearm. And not just them, that includes Southeast Asian countries.

If Japan is going to be taking a larger role in maintaining its own defense, does this mean we can bring our troops home?

I would prefer Japan rearming rather than the Chinese and NK going crazy.
Now the Asian countries other than the Chinese and NK should form an epic defense pact, unless we already have a defense pact except its not epic.

Oh thank god. If we're to have any troops in the Pacific, they should be in, oh you know, Guam and Hawaii. You know, places that are actually our own territory?

Nah, let them keep some in SK, we'll bribe the US if necessary until NK is not an insane regime

SK and Japan would destroy North Korea if push came to shove.

But I guess I'd support getting involved in that if China started doing shit.

It will be great to see an ASEAN-Japan alliance, Japan-India Alliance or Japan-SK alliance. Although if the US pivot continues, it's possible to see those alliance grow.

lol, I know right?
Except these were real Japanese people and their engrish was horrible to the point where even trolls couldn't succeed in it they used translators as well.

No, a ASEAN, Japanese, Indian, SK alliance with Australia somehow involved as well! The aussies always are helpful!

It's basically the same thing whenever I see Chinese Nationalists commenting on articles on Filipino website about disputes in S.China sea. It's an absolute waste of time to argue with their illogical fallacies.

Yes. Even with the tensions between Japan and South Korea, they will sit down and talk in the future. If a new Korean war breaks out, where do you think US reinforcements will come from?

Yes they'll came from US, but the first batch of reinforcements will come from Okinawa, Japan. So at some point SK and Japan will cooperate.

Really? Never knew that, the Korean government shouldn't be so unreasonable in ways.
Still, I fear the International Court will end badly, I mean they have made mistakes before.

Given the current president has declared that she refuses to even talk...

It's pretty damn silly, really. Although I do understand she is in a tough situation politically given the previous president REALLY whipped up anti-Japanese feelings and her father was considered a collaborator with the Japanese occupation.

The US doesn't let Japan do anything. Japan is its own nation. In fact, the US has been pressuring Japan to rearm.

The Japanese people (You know, the population of said country whom are supposedly the ones in charge being a democracy and all) are very much opposed to scrapping Article 9.
