I'm not talking about guitars or that kind of thing, I mean more like the kind of instruments you'll hear in an orchestra.
If it's any consolation, there are several orchestral pieces with parts for bass guitar.
Although we'll still look down on you because Vivaldi never wrote any concertos for it, did he? And he wrote concertos for everything! Even obsolete instruments!
