Santa in America has traditionally portrayed as white.......get over it. If you want to make a black santa or an asian santa or an indian santa then be my guest, but honestly who cares?

The "Jesus is white" thing is really f*cking stupid, but the "Santa is white" thing at least has a tiny, itty bitty grain of justification. Santa Claus' gift giving tradition was adopted from Odin, so it makes some sense. Claiming Saint Nicholas is white is also completely wrong, though.

So it appears that not only is a major media news outlet claiming that a Turkish bishop is, and should be, white, but also that jesus was white, and that these two factually incorrect things are in some way related.

Neither thing is factually incorrect: Jesus was a Jew (are you saying Jews aren't white?), and St. Nicholas was a Greek.
