Considering separating children from parents is a pretty traumatic thing to do, it's kind of twisted for you to support that idea.

So, I assume you are one of those people who believe religion is the only way to raise a child? Let's look at a couple examples here- the catholic church molestation scandal and coverup, the book "to train up a child" (listing here: http://www.amazon.com/To-Train-Child-Michael-Pearl/dp/1892112000 excerpts here: http://heartofwisdom.com/blog/pearls-to-train-up-a-child-and-child-abuse/) and numerous cases of people bastardizing religion to their own ends (justifying murder, for example). Saying gays can't raise a child is akin to saying a Muslim can't raise children. Sure, some people can't handle kids. But you can't create a generalization based on sexual preference.
