Would you kill children to become smarter?

Under certain conditions, I probably would have answered "yes" if this question were asked of me a few years ago. Past me was a jerk.

Now I most certainly value human life above intellectual pursuits, and think that this question is sickening.

No. Is this even a real question? Killing children is unacceptable under almost ANY condition, especially for selfish gain. Would you kill me for knowledge? Can I kill you for knowledge? No, no, no, it's unacceptable.

I think we need more information before making quick calls... see above for a list of questions that the analytic person ought to ask first.

What would you do?

I want to know who the child is. How old they are, how bad they've been, psychological traits. Physical disabilities, mental disabilities, that sort of thing.
