Yeah. Most on here now either post sporadically, or are just getting into NSG and might not last long.

Yeah, I guess your right. Out of the many poster here, most don't seem to last more than a couple of months. Kind of weird now that I think about it. Wonder why I never noticed that before?

Personally, I use to be afraid of rollercoasters. Now I just don't give a fuck, although, it has been awhile sense I've been around any. Also, I have a slight touch of vertigo.

But...but rollercoasters kick egregious ass! Of course, I'm in American Coaster Enthusiasts, so my position may be skewed.
The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds.- Carl Sagan

Right, well I wrote that 'I use to be afraid' which came to an end once I got my drivers license. And, I have not been around a rollercoaster lately because I don't have anyone to ride with.

I haven't seen that one too often, with very few exceptions, from the regulars.

Probably less common, but I can bet you a decent chunk of the posters here believe it, including the regulars.

I just dislike spiders, but not to the point of being aracnophobic. My fiancee, though, is so ophiophobic (and also herpetophobic) that she can't even see the picture of a snake, or touch a bag made of crocodile skin, without screaming, jumping away and crying out of fear.

I'm afraid of spiders, but strangely only when people are around. If one jumps on me when I'm alone, I'll be startled but I'll take care of it. If there's someone in the room, they have to take care of it or I'll freak out.

That's really the only non-rational fear I have. I used to be afraid of heights/falling, but I've forced myself to get over that.

Depends on how afraid you are of it. If you're afraid because you've just survived a crash, I wouldn't call it irrational; if you are overly cautious about your daily happenings because you think you might be struck by a car, have a piano fall on you, choke on dinner, etc., then yes.

I have too many phobias. My Arachnophobia is the worst, Clowns also scare me.
My nation is not like my nation page at all, it contradicts itself, we don't EVER eat kangaroos, that's just very sad. Also vegetarianism is compulsory yet it still says it's the nation's favourite main course and all and stuff.

Practically all animals. If it moves, I don't trust it. Only roaches and wasps approach phobia level though -- justified in the latter case, since one stung me on the eyelid when I was fairly young (9 or 10 I think). I've never been sure about the roaches though. It's not all that rational for me to be frightened of a two-centimetre-long insect that doesn't sting or bite. Oh, and large dogs -- but only if they run very fast and bark loudly, and I get over my instinctive fear response when they calm down.

Also, losing control. Dementia, but I suppose to some degree getting drunk or stoned as well, or anything else that reduces my self-awareness and ability to control my own actions. I suppose being paralyzed and unable to speak or move at all would be another one, although that doesn't come up very often.
