By that logic ANYTHING can be real. From Santa to Big Foot to the Lochness Monster to Bugs Bunny to Rainbow Dash to Superman to- are you seeing the problem with that logic? Like, have I demonstrated how saying "It works because it's outside the rulez, man!" is such a flawed argument? Once you remove the rules, all things become permissible. Including deliberately fictional characters.
No, not actually. Unlike Superman millions believe Santa is a real living person and Saint Nicholas was a real person. Even Wikipedia has an article on him. Santa isn't something a comic book writer made up. He is a historical figure with centuries of varied folklore to back him up and millions of followers.

You cannot use science to disprove something that is beyond science. Also, Santa isn't racist but he only gives gifts to good Christians regardless of race. That is why most people don't get gifts from him, even in the first world.

You do realize that the very concept of 'Christmas' is a pagan tradition, correct? As well, there is long tradition of similarly themed pagan demi-gods that performed similar feats (gifting etc.) on days of feasting. So, regardless of whether or not the miracles that St. Nicholas performed were 'verified', then they are as equally 'verified' as the power of these demi-gods, and the historical tradition behind them and their continuation even into Christian times stands.
Not only that, but what was St. Nicholas really known for? Giving money for the dowrys of poor women. Not giving gifts to children... Well ok, those girls were probably 14-16, but REGARDLESS, the other attributes of St. Nicholas probably come from hold-overs of pagan tradition.
Basically, if one does happen to get a package that no one bought, it's probably from the pagan demi-gods, not St. Nicholas. But on the bright side, at least you were a good little pagan that year.
