You don't? Then glance up from your theoretical, hypothetical, perfect world and look around. I see militant atheists and oppressive secular humanists. Everywhere. Seriously, this is how all religions start off. Read up and you'll see it's true. Atheism is following the same pattern that most major religions have.

Let the students/parents take their vouchers where they want, provided that the school meets the minimum educational requirements.
Bullshit. But coming from you, that shouldn't be a surprise.

Fuck that. I'd be pretty upset to learn that my money went to pay for a kid to listen to someone labeling evolution as "secular propaganda" or LGBTs as "morally wrong."

I don't know all that much about fundamentalist Christianity; but, as far as I know, being attracted to the same sex is not considered wrong.

It's their money, which is kind of the point.
Parents, here is the money that would have been spent on your children in the public school system. Use it to educate them as you see fit.

And both were right-wing shitholes. Still, pre-civil war Rapture was pretty great. (Well, as long as I was as rich as most of the people living there)
Besides, Rapture's fall had more to do with it's lassiez-faire capitalism instead of it's atheism.
I'm sure this is threadjacking, but whatever...

Not really they both sucked in every essence of their existence (even with superior technology) due to the extremist isolation and worship of competition, racism, societal purity, cultic indoctrination, ultra-fundamentalism, super-consumerism, perfectionism, and all out societal narcissism.
