You probably don't see anything wrong with status quo. Because you're not negatively affected nor know anybody who is. But we are and we do.

Well, obviously.

Not at all. Note the use of male and men, female and women.

Those are related nouns and adjectives used as nouns. I...I don't get how that means you don't define a person with a penis, regardless of their gender identity, as a "man" and "male" and therefore they go to the men's room.

One American study of transgender adults found that approximately 50% of respondents were survivors of violence or abuse,(28) and another found that 25% of transgender respondents had experienced hate-motivated physical/sexual assault or attempted assault. 29 In a recent survey of transgender people and loved ones in BC (n=179), 26% reported needing anti-violence services at some point in their life. In examining reports of hate crimes against transgender people, researchers found that 98% of all “transgender” violence was perpetrated specifically against people in the male to-female spectrum; (30) of the 38 murders of transgender people reported internationally in 2003, 70% were women of colour. Transgender facts Although social acceptance for transgender people is growing, parents continue to abandon youth with gender-identity issues when their children need them most, advocates say. 49 per cent of transgender people attempt suicide. Transgender youth account for 18 per cent of homeless people in cities such as Chicago, but researchers estimate fewer than 1 in 1,000 people is transgender. 1 in 12 transgender people in America is murdered. Transgender youth whose parents pressure them to conform to their anatomical gender report higher levels of depression, illegal drug use, suicide attempts and unsafe sex than peers who receive little or no pressure from parents. Less than 1 to 1.5 per cent of individuals experience persistent regret after sex-reassignment surgery. I'm talking about the bathroom issue, and that issue alone.

You don't think that shit happens in bathrooms, too?

How many times do the words "one and twelve murdered" need to be spoken before you understand this is a matter of life and death?

Well, cismen are fully men and are in many/most usages male. Transwomen are fully women and are in many/most usages female.

The bathrooms talk about men/gentlemen and women/ladies. They talk about gender, not sex, seemingly. (Anyway it is ridiculous to not offer at least one more choice - I'd go by at least men, women, gender-neutral/unisex and child-friendly -, because there are more than two sexes and more than two genders, but let's not get further complicated, as society is still running a snail race in this regard.)

So your logic doesn't apply again, this time not even by semantics it is support.

Statistics have been mentioned and...oh. Well I don't have any anecdotes about a transgender person who was found out in a bathroom and murdered, unfortunately, or committed suicide. But I'm sure someone here does.

No, they're a Trans Hit Squad.

Tarantino is looking at directing.

Is it wrong that I hate reality for not making that true?

There was a time when you could do a thread on "What would be the tagline for a Tarantino Film called 'Trans Hit Squad'"?

With attitudes being what they are towards transgender people, it could genuinely cause tremendous suffering and death. Likewise, I see no reason to cause a person discomfort when it is wholly unnecessary to do so.

It would be awesome if Trans Hit Squad took in 120 mil on opening weekend, and spawned a series of first person shooters that Gamer Magazine would later say "Makes Halo look like a handjob from your fat aunt".

The individual that they initially targeted made a comment about using the anti-trans advocates as cardboard at a shooting range. Apparently Shia Califate here presumes they were being serious with that comment.

How are we defining sexes in this context? I usually rely on the presence of at least one Y-chromosome to determine maleness. Some people seem to consider other things, though.

I didn't say that. I was getting at that this happens in almost every thread that has to do with trans things. Everyone goes bonkers if someone has a differing opinion.

Yes, because opinions that make needlessly life worse for people are generally shitty opinions. Do I not have the right to tell you that you have a shitty opinion if it will directly make life worse for me, especially if I can prove that it will?

I was going to say, "after all, what's really a 'bad' handjobs?" and then I realized this is NSG and people would answer it and get upset about the answer and eventually it would be about whether a baby is a parasite.

And again, I don't care because I don't know you. For all I know you could be a robot/computer program.

If I knew you in the real world and you were having problems, then yes, I may rally to your cause. I haven't been affected personally, so this issue is really really low on my radar.

Sorry if that irritates you.
