While the persecution from the hate group has continued, the official investigations have confirmed what the school Superintendent said, that there had been no incident such as was alleged by the hate group.

What else do you expect from a group of bigots? For them to tell the truth?

Well, no. I expect them to continue until their efforts to have the law in California repealed (yes, this incident concerns a student in Colorado, because they went seeking plaintiffs and found none in California, and then got wind of something else in another state which they thought might give them ammunition, except there was no real story there, so they fabricated one) either succeed or get soundly rejected.

But it would be nice if YouTube finally pulled their video. I know it has been reported multiple times by myself and others, as violating YouTube's Terms of Service in several particulars, and yet YouTube, which claims to review reports 24/7, has yet to do aught about it.

Am I a hypocrite if I advocate the prosecution and incarceration of kidnappers or hostage takers?

Speaking for myself, I find that "tolerance" is frequently just a waffle-word for "moral relativism," which is an idea I find vacuous and self-defeating. As I do the "tolerate the intolerant" line. At any rate, not only is "tolerance" ultimately the destruction of morality via the nihilism inherent to relativism, but it is also wholly irrelevant. Those who would deny me my rights and liberties on the basis of my sexuality are not wrong because they are "intolerant"; they are wrong because their beliefs and actions have no legitimate ethical basis. "Tolerance" has precisely nothing to do with it.

Well, seeing as the hate group's harassment only began in October, the hate group's video was only put up on the 4th of November, I posted the OP on the 10th of November, and new developments have continued to be reported (as recently as just a couple of days ago), yeah, it's kinda new news.

What exactly is your concern? That this sort of thing has happened before? That may be so (although I don't recall any "adult" hate group having targeted a minor in this context in the past), but it doesn't mean that the continued ignorance, irrationality, superstition, prejudice, and promotion of ignorance, irrationality, superstition, prejudice, and hate crimes are not newsworthy or worthy of discussion here.
