I've never in my life seen a unisex bathroom. AFAIK, the nearest one is in another fucking timezone. Which only leaves home. Tell me. Have you ever held in any bodily function requiring a bathroom for 8 hours straight? Do you realize that making others do this has literally caused people to have health problems and have to go to the ER?

There's a simpler solution to this problem. Let people use the bathroom that corresponds with their gender.

Here's the summary:
In Colorado, there are anti-discrimination laws in place to protect the transgendered. A young transgirl is allowed by her school to use the girls' restroom at the school. A couple of adults got their panties in a bunch over this and tried to get the school to stop the transgirl from doing so. The school investigated and found no evidence of wrongdoing on the part of the transgirl, so they didn't do what the parents wanted. The two parents then went to another town and tried to hold a news conference about it. A well-known anti-LGBTI hate group, which promotes "ex-gay" and "ex-trans" nonsense, got wind of the story and started lying about what was happening. Some national news outlets picked up the story from the hate group, and then, after the facts were checked, had to backtrack and remove their stories (although some have, predictably, refused to correct their false reports in any way). A police investigation took part, NOT INVESTIGATING THE TRANSGIRL, but the hate group and the two parents, who then became even more willing to play the victims in all of this. Now the hate group has put up a video on YouTube repeating the lies, appealing to prejudice and passion (these are fallacies, btw) and ignorance, in an effort to raise money to continue their agenda to have a law in California (yup a totally different state) overturned (as well as continue to spread more hate and fear elsewhere). Numerous news media sources (see the Slate link for one example, and the other links given have links to other news media outlets who have done so) have CONFIRMED that the original story was a lie; the hate group itself has admitted that no actual harassment had taken place from the transgirl (who is apparently well-liked by her peers in school), but that they believe that her mere presence in the girls' bathroom somehow constitutes harassment. They are exploiting a lie in an effort to promote hatred and to raise money for spreading even more hatred. The young transgirl has had to be put on suicide watch as a result of all this.
