The issue was that the hardrive was inflicted with so many corrupted files I had to revert it back to Windows 7. Was ruined from there on.

Ubuntu 10.04 was my first Linux.

Oh those were the days.

I also tried 11.04 when it came out, but it was slow and buggy as hell, so I switched to Debian, and then picked up OpenBSD for a bit. I mostly use Debian and Windows 7 nowadays.

Did you format your hard drive then install Ubuntu or did you install it alongside Windows? Windows 7 seems like a pretty stable, usable OS unlike Vista.

Fortmat. But I'm not concerned about it anymore, my laptop is much better than my old desktop was.

That's when they updated all the graphics... and switched the windows icons from right to left >.>

I started in 9.04, now in 13.10. Haven't looked back since, especially since my main Dell PC decided to sh*t itself and stop working this summer. :palm:

For so long, Mankind has been plagued by division. Division by culture, creed, skin color, religion and nationality. These very divisions have been the cause of most human conflicts. But in the age of globalism, we can finally have that chance to implement a world government where all human beings are seen as equals. Isn't that what everyone wants? World peace? I do. You should support that too. It may not end all conflicts, but the reductions of Man on Man violence will be at an all time low when the entire planet gets administered by one governing body.
