What does your desktop look like?

What does your desktop look like without the windows open? Show NSG how your icons are set up and where they could be. Perhaps you organize in different groups or throw everything on one side, or simply scatter them everywhere not caring where they end up.

Here's my desktop to start the thread.
And yes the white text in the upper right is part of the background, I kinda added it.


Post your desktops if you please! That's pretty much the whole OP and all that's needed.

Which one? I have more than 60 different backgrounds I use depending on the mood I'm in.

As for shortcut placement I just have a bunch of unorganized columns along the left side of the screen. I should probably organize and/or remove them but I'm too lazy to do so.

My desktop rotates through a butt ton of images, some I took, some I got from the interwebz of things I like. This one is kind of boring in that regard, it is a picture of a 356 Outlaw Special (special in that it was really a 914/6 with 356 body bits on it) that I kind of liked if you looked at it at the right angle.

If I change my desktop to something totally awesome, it feels wrong, because I am used to what was before. And my mind is like 'this is not my computer'. :p

Haven't really used desktop icons in forever, even before I started using Gnome. So instead here's one with just the sidebar open (otherwise it'd pretty much just be the wallpaper), and one with the app launcher open to show icons.
