There are often threads on NSG that are about sex. We may joke every now and then that "you wouldn't be on NS if you were getting laid", but obviously this is a gross generalisation. So, I was wondering, who on NSG is in a relationship? Furthermore, tell us about your relationship. Are you married? Are you "casual"? Are you in a relationship with a fellow NSer?

Single. Went through college wanting nothing to do with a relationship. Had a brief one about a year ago...currently, I have no desire to get connected to someone only to move in 9 months, but no longer so against being in one.

Due to the fact that I'm a 15-year old nerd, who spends most of his time either playing on the 360 or being on the computer, I'm single.

Nope. Just got through a very painful internet thing. Wasn't officially dating due to wanting to meet him in person first, but we cared a great deal about each other. But it went really wrong, tearing apart a friendship in the process. To the point we stopped speaking for a while just to cut down the stress and to decide whether to stay together. Turns out, nope. I hope we'll be friends again, one day. When we're both a bit less messed up.

...And by 'just', I literally mean we worked that out that it was all gone in the last few hours. :( I wouldn't be spilling nearly this much I bet otherwise. *wibbles*

I'll... just be going now, because most won't care and the rest will wish I hadn't been so depressing.

In a relationship and planning to propose in about 6 months time if all goes well. Just need to accumulate a bit more cash for a ring and the trip I have planned.

It's like 15 til 7am here, I'm avoiding my children while they go through 'getting ready for school' drama.

"not now dears, mommy is working"

Meh.. I do both of those a lot, but I've had girlfriends. My last one broke up with me 2 weeks ago. Something about "I'm never there when she needs me"??

They can be troublesome at times, but for the most part, girlfriends are great. :)
EDIT: In my opinion, at least. :P

I know I'm on the other side of several thousand metres of cables, but...

Hope this help. Chin up, smile. Things'll get better.

On a side note, single. Happily so and fully intend on staying that way for all eternity.

But, do you feel uncomfortable in social situations and don't know how to talk to people? That's probably the main reason I don't have a girlfriend. And, that I'm most of the time thinking about something else, like ''Where should the WMU's capital be in the book?'' or ''What if Nazi Zombies attack?''.

EDIT: Friend, not fiend.

Sorry, just kidding. But, maybe you should work on your social skills? Just keep calm. Like me. 8)

It probably is, but be happy - your happiness does not depend on anyone else, just on you and what you do. :ugeek:
And for more primitive urgings, there still is internet

The awkwardness probably stems from two things: 1. Psychological disorders, and 2. Being mostly alone from the start. Seriously, I've been always mostly alone.
