Personally I believe that it is important to experience all areas of arts and sciences to have a general understanding of life. Sadly my university has become highly segregated by departments. One is either a master of science or art, not both, even worse, your either an academic of psychology or philosophy. Its so divided, its a very poor way to educate.

My partner and I didn't start dating for over a year after we "liked each other enough." I honestly think we would have broken up a long time ago if we hadn't waited to start a relationship the way we did.

SECOND EDIT: Also, I've just realised this is the relationships thread. I broke up with my boyfriend yesterday. Nope. Just got through a very painful internet thing. Wasn't officially dating due to wanting to meet him in person first, but we cared a great deal about each other. But it went really wrong, tearing apart a friendship in the process. To the point we stopped speaking for a while just to cut down the stress and to decide whether to stay together. Turns out, nope.
