No, just in general. They want to abolish the Senate. I know that you and most others probably agree with that, but I don't for personal reasons I don't want to speak of. Mulcair is crazy too, I liked Layton. I think Trudeau is the best candidate right now.

Ah, this makes much more sense. Thanks for the clarification.
Where must we go, we who wander this wasteland, in search for our better selves?
In Egypt's sandy silence, all alone,
Stands a gigantic Leg, which far off throws
The only shadow that the Desert knows:—
"I am great OZYMANDIAS," saith the stone,
"The King of Kings; this mighty City shows
"The wonders of my hand." The City's gone,
Nought but the Leg remaining to disclose
The site of this forgotten Babylon.

We wonder, and some Hunter may express
Wonder like ours, when thro' the wilderness
Where London stood, holding the Wolf in chace,
He meets some fragment huge, and stops to guess
What powerful but unrecorded race
Once dwelt in that annihilated place.

Harper is done. He's going to need divine intervention to stop the Senate scandal ruining the Conservatives in the next election. Good riddance. Worst leader we've had in a long time.

This probably isn't what he's thinking about, but from what I know of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, not much good can come out of it. Especially since Harper loves keeping important things concealed until they're ready to be ratified.

I'm a Liberal by heart and Stephen Harper's Conservatives do not and never will have my support. He will likely lose his majority government in 2015 and I for one am very glad for that seemingly likely reality.

Yep. Just like every time that a Democrat wins a US election, a whole bunch of right-wingers try to come to Canada because there are no Democrats in power. They seem to forget about the free health care.

Besides, you'd have to stay. And have 10 million friends. Who would come here. To vote. When you can't vote until you're a citizen, and it can take years to get that, and by the time you get that, you'll be hooked on our Socialist ways.

Think of the Liberals and the Sponsorship Scandal. Even if it doesn't necessarily implement the leadership, the entire party suffers. I'm not normally one to gloat over bad Senate finances sinking the government, but I'll take it in this case, and the Conservative handling of the matter (especially with the prorogue on Parliament) has not been pleasant. I only hope Trudeau doesn't screw things up and hand the nation back to the Conservatives in six years.
