It was reported, and removed the moment the mods saw it. Next time, just post a link in moderation, and don't give the troll the benefit of a reaction.

He gave lip service to civil rights, but didn't move much on it. LBJ did most of that. And while he's been portrayed as a hero during the missile crisis, the fact is that he took the world to the brink of nuclear war, and ended up having to give up American missiles in exchange for the Soviet ones, making it a draw at best.

JFK was openly annoyed by King despite having his political base in the civil rights friendly North, while LBJ advanced the civil rights agenda despite having his base in the South. JFK was frightened to lose the Dixiecrats, while LBJ willingly signed away the South for a generation of Democrats. JFK wrote Profiles In Courage, LBJ was a profile in courage.

What about the right to freedom of speech and freedom of expression, as established by the First Amendment to the Constitution?
Just like you shouldn't be able to say that you're going to perform a school shooting, promoting socialist views should not be allowed. It means that you're actively trying to violate the laws of the United States and ignore and violate the rights and liberties of your fellow citizens.

Fucking This^. LBJ had some god damn brass to help a group of people that had been disenfranchised since the country's founding and to tackle poverty with the full resources of the American Government. If he had won Vietnam, he would be considered better than FDR, and would be the standard bearer of the democratic party.
