Slaughterhouse? Interesting so what do you exactly do there?

I have done numerous things. I have helped with skinning deer, cleaned pens, washed carcasses, cleaned gut/blood barrels, hosed floors, boned meat (giggity), stuffed burger, ground burger, patty-formed burger, scraped steak cuts, tenderized cuts, inspected wrap seal quality, done smokehouse duty, packaged various sausage products, plenty of freezer work, retail, phones, bills, carry-out, catering, general cleaning, some repairs, stocked case, checked in deer, unloaded supplies, and probably some other things I cannot recall at this time. Due to my current part-time schedule, I'm basically back to retail/carry-out/phones at the moment. Once firearms season starts, I will again be checking and dragging deer.

Nice my friend in interesting shit I also work part time at a firearms store. Once logging season starts to die down during the winter the gun store is my main source of income.

I worked at an FFL07/Class 2 SOT while in university last year. I loved it: most enjoyable job I've had.

Oddly enough, yes. It's interesting seeing (hearing rather) what I do. It's a privately run facility that receives state funds, so of course you get the run-of-the-mill unrepentant criminal who thinks that just because it's privately run also means he didn't commit his crime and is just 'money for the state'. God, if I could shut that argument off, I'd be a far happier person. That being said, the worst people aren't the ones who saw off women's heads (no, I am not joking), it's the pedophiles.

So what do you do just interview them? and evaluate them? This is a rather odd question but have you ever meet one of the criminally insane like one who brags about how he killed people ETC.....

I evaluate them, and then if needbe, act as their functional therapist. That's right, kids! Get locked up for running someone over in a drunken rage and get free mental health care! But in all seriousness, you don't put the 'brags about it' kinds in a medium facility. I do, however, get my fair share of the 'I could have given less of a shit if I'd killed ten more' types. They tend to be obstinate.

You have no clue how much this interests me.
Criminals' minds are fascinating.

I don't know if it's just that I'm jaded at this point, but it's surprisingly mundane. 9/10 of the people I see are just trying to hit me up for sleep medications (sleeping in prison is apparently as difficult as climbing up a buttered pane of glass). But, when we do talk about the 'interesting' stuff, it's mostly just about their excuses or reasoning. They don't feel as if they're part of some darker plot in the greater universe, they just feel like they were guys caught in rough situations and then hosed by an uncaring and corrupt judicial system.
