I could potentially get behind banning alcohol advertisements, just as we banned cigarette adverts here in the U.S. Banning the actual substance would be a bad idea however. Lets not go back to running moonshine.

Now, obviously alcohol is a factor in drunk driving incidents. But the problem isn't alcohol, the problem is someone driving under its influence. People driving while distracted or tired are also a danger on the roads. The solution isn't to ban phones or tiredness.

But that's actually the case...
I don't mean actually banning owning a phone, but it is illegal to use one while driving.
