Holloween= a Satanic holiday, now a day kids go door to door getting free candy
Christmas= Jesus's birth

regardless of what religion you belive thats what is celebrated on those days. Also I'm not gonna argue so please don't post any insulting or rude objections.

Good Friday is the Death. Easter is the Ressurrection.
Halloween and Christmas are holidays that have Christian influences.


But seriously, what does it matter? I think holidays are stupid, anyways. Why should I only celebrate the Resurrection of Christ on Easter? I want to do it everyday, regardless of the date.

Actually, no. Christmas has roots in the Winter Solstice, Halloween is the Celtic Samhain, as well as the Christian All Saints.

Christmas does have its roots in those days but Jesus's birth is the more debated and accepted reason. We don't go around saying Merry Winter Solstice... (It was a bad idea the moment I posted it... )
