Somewhat off topic, but I love how the volume on that feed goes up to 11.
Thanks for the link though.

Have confidence that the Tea Party will fuck this up, somehow.

I'm more surprised that senate Republicans are working with the Democrats. Shame House Republicans have to do their job of representing their constituents.

Not really, this is pretty much end game. The House failed in their attempts to extract concessions, they can't even put the votes together to pass a new attempt, and Boehner effectively punted to the Senate. With the debt ceiling hitting in 12 hours, trying to hide now will just get him crucified by both sides.

I honestly think that attempting this should be put in law as treason. You're literally asking for a depression because you've created an ocean of Obamacare hate tears. Getting rid of the AHCA is not worth crashing the economy.

There isn't really a downside to Boehner being removed as Speaker for the Democrats. After having all ready pissed them off and dragged them through the mud in this epic failure of a showdown, the Tea Party would need near completely unity from the rest of the caucus to get one of their own to replace him...which won't happen. So the new Speaker would most likely win via the moderate/sane block of the GOP caucus with Democrat backing, while the Tea Party sits in a corner foaming at the mouth about liberal traitors.
