If the internet were around in the dark ages, I'm sure that the pro-Vatican crowd would post source after source of evidence proving that the earth was flat, sources right from the Pope's blog I'm sure. The fact remains that there are many in the scientific community who aren't eating or promoting the fruit of evolutionary theory.
