I would hope Thailand and Vietnam would be good places to grow market share.

They're industralising countries. They're perfect places for Nokia's budget smartphones.

And hopefully the newly leaked 525 will keep growing that sector

You'd love Microsoft Bob.
The American Legion is a neo-fascist terrorist organization, bent on implementing Paulinist Sharia, and with a history of pogroms against organized labor and peace activists and of lynching those who dare resist or defend themselves against its aggression.

Pro: O'Reilly technical books, crew-length socks, Slide-O-Mix trombone lubricant, Reuben sandwiches
Anti: The eight-line signature limit, lift kits, cancelling Better Off Ted, Chicago Cubs

Customization! It's Fun!
Downside: not always compatible with Windows-based application. (i.e. Adobe)

Here are some vids: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ---these vids are from Matthew Moore...there are other YouTube guys you can watch like: quidsup, spatry, charlie henson...etc.

Windows 8.

While it has the worst Start Interface I have ever seen, it runs games (I use my computer primarily for gaming) flawlessly.

I don't really trust Linux, they are usually Frankenstein systems that come in so many unprotected distributions. However, Wolvix and Ubuntu are exceptions in my case.

Anyone here tried Slackintosh?

In this world we stand for what we love, for what is right and for our rights. If you don't stand for either one of these you don't stand at all. You're crippled mentally. Your rights give you your life, that life gives you the right to stand for what is right for the world and one of those rights in the world is standing strong for those you love and what you love as a whole.

Upgrade to 8.1 if you want to avoid the Metro UI via boot to desktop.

I guess I'm one of the only ones who doesn't boot to desktop.

My love of Linux is not so much about the inherent superiority of the kernel, but rather the philosophy behind it. I love how anyone can take a distribution and improve, customize, and make a new one. It promotes freedom and diversity, rather than having progress being dictated by a small elite.

Already got it.

Switched over to local computer mode to avoid having to limit my password to 16 characters. Plus I spent an extra 4 dollars on StarDock to get the Windows 7-styled Start Menu application.

I love the flat look of the Win 8 GUI on desktop mode. Didn't really buy the transparent look of the Win7 GUI.

I will only get Linux once major developers like DICE or BioWare supports it.
