I use Windows 7 or Mint depending on the circumstances. One class forces me to use a Linux distro and another forces me to us a Windows distro. Personally I prefer Linux.

Marketing. Microsoft's not particularly good at it. Getting a bit better, but it'll take time to catch up.

They had the worst marketing possible with the xbone (don mattrick, err'body!) and that's still managed to grab some pre-orders...

You know, the version of windows I end up with all the time is Vista. Once you use the vlite program to slim it down it only uses about 400 MB of RAM. Vista after SP1 is just as fast as windows 7 and is much easier to use IMO.

Actually, its OS X. It stopped being Mac OS X after 10.7, starting with 10.8 (OS X Mountain Lion) they removed the word "Mac" from its name.
