Nat: Night's always in some bizarre state somewhere between "intoxicated enough to kill a hair metal lead singer" and "annoying Mormon missionary sober".
Swith: It's because you're so awesome. God himself refreshes the screen before he types just to see if Nightkill has written anything while he was off somewhere else.

If these are the kinds of questions they are asking, I'm skeptical of the results. After all, by this question, a man who's wife initially says no, but then changes her mind after he asks again, has just been raped.
I have a feeling this questionnaire was biased in the way it asked it's questions. Which isn't uncommon for rape surveys unfortunately.
And? When someone says no, you say "Alright." and go to sleep, or go home, or whatever works.

Nineteen percent of the world's children live in India,[173][174] which constitutes 42 percent of India’s total population.[175]
In 2007 the Ministry of Women and Child Development published the "Study on Child Abuse: India 2007."[173] It sampled 12447 children, 2324 young adults and 2449 stakeholders across 13 states. It looked at different forms of child abuse: physical abuse, sexual abuse and emotional abuse and girl child neglect in five evidence groups, namely, children in a family environment, children in school, children at work, children on the street and children in institutions.
The study's[173] main findings included: 53.22% of children reported having faced sexual abuse.

I ask, "Well what does count as not giving consent?" You say, "Completely unrelated subject!"
What impeccable logic.

Please tell me you are the real North Korean leader...
As for the article itself, its once again omitting how the attitudes have changed over the decades.
Its clearly attempting to demonise Asians, whence in fact a majority of them on average do not do such things.
Whilst as Nightkill above pointed out, In India alone, increasingly people are taking to the streets to demand an end to it.
In perspective, here in the West where much cases of rape do occur, never once have people taken to the streets en masse on the Indian level to protest it or demand stronger government laws. Or at least, not that I have heard of such manifestations openly, publicly, on the scale of the Indian ones.

Yes, it is completely unrelated. Good job. Here's a cookie, Spot.![]()
It's unrelated, because my views on what constitutes consent and nonconsent in other situations is irrelevant to the discussion of whether or not what I described in this instance was rape.
Now I see no more reason to derail the discussion with your petty whining. Either address my actual point, or begone.

Your personal definition of consent has a great deal of bearing upon how you're labeling what is and what is not consent in this debate.

So I take it you refuse to actually examine the issue at hand, and my comments on it?
Right then. This is going no where. No point in continuing it any further.
