They're both still different opinions of different people, and schools should not be biased towards either.

To say that schools cannot distinguish between evolution and creationism is literally the same as suggesting that they must regard alchemy on equal terms as chemistry.

Creationism has met none of the conditions of a theory, it performs no experiments and makes no predictions. It does not deserve to be taught.

As well, the problem also becomes a matter of demographics, not just sex education v. abstinence only. Particularly considering that those populations most at risk for STI transmission are, consistently, those populations with the poorest education and socioeconomic background. When one never receives sex education at all, whether because of abstinence-only policies or poor education, the STI infection rates go up. This isn't hard.

And, again, you won't stop the papilloma virus unless you vaccinate against it, because most of the adult population has it, and condoms don't always protect against it.

If you've had sex with two or more people, chances are you do too. Even if you can't see it.

So vaccinate your kids! It's the only way we're going to beat this thing.

Ayup. Though I bet you mandatory HPV shots for males and females will be just as vehemently opposed by The Usual Suspects for the same reason sex ed is, in spite of empirical evidence.

Gardasil works on males as well as females.

They still work on males. See if you can get one anyway.

Mind you, it won't stop all papillomas. There are over 80 varieties, and virtually everyone is infected with at least one. But it will take out the most nasty ones. Namely the ones that grow on your genitals and sometimes give ladies cancer.

They also cause cancer on male genitalia...

Other varieties cause anal cancer, too.

Learning not to let someone touch you in any area which a swimsuit would cover is helpful, but I would not label it "sex education".

That's just groundless sensationalism.

HPV literally can be caught from a toilet seat. It's one of the only STIs where that's true.

And as the majority of the adult population in the US has it already, there's almost nothing that can be done to stop it. Except to vaccinate against it.
