Why?

Children will learn about family structures and about bullying issues. All fine and dandy.

Children will learn what body parts are called. They know the names for fingers and toes; why would it be so awful to know the names of penises and vaginas? This doesn't even have to encompass their functions.

Children will learn about appropriate touching along with this. This is very important. It means they know a little of what sexual abuse is and how to stop it. I don't see how anyone can be against that.

All right, sex education in Kindergarten? Great addition to the course of study. Learn to count, read, and where babies come from. Sounds like a plan. Do you think it's a good idea? I find it plainly stupid that we should teach 6-year-olds this stuff. We need to wait a while before we teach them something that they shouldn't (and I say shouldn't for a reason) need to worry about until their adult hood. It should be left the way it is, in middle school/ high school.

Also, kid should be though that gay and transgender people are also humans, in that purpose kindergardens should always invite some LGBT person with their partners to teach the kids tolerance. It would be good if they [LGBT] perform something for the kids, like saying them how do they realise they were different and so on.

6 does seem a bit early for what's suggested here. Although I agree that at about that age they should be encouraged to report possible sex abuse, by both teachers and parents.

you know how you teach kindergarteners about math by learning the numbers instead of starting with calculus? you start with sex ed in a similar way.

Yeah, but I wouldn't actively bring it up when they don't ask.

I agree that we shouldn't bring up the stork and shit like that, even though I'd totally love to tell my children something that they'll totally believe until they get older.

You, first of all, underestimate the ability of children to adapt to the idea that dangers exists. And you also are apparently incapable of understanding that things like this can be worded far more delicately. And to top it off you are forgetting that what is far, far worse than a child knowing that dangers exist, is a child being abused, having no idea what to do, and blaming themselves.
