Magic coconut arrested in Maldives for rigging election

Says it all really.

I'm really disappointed when authorities get in on cases like this. I understand that many people in the world are superstitious, but when the state authorities start doing shit like this, like the time Saudi Arabia arrested a Vulture and charged it with being a Mossad spy, or when Japanese police started escorting children from schools to their homes in 1979 after the Kuchisake-Onna rumors, it speaks volumes about the incompetence of those who are running the country, and who should know better.

Could you put more effort into the OP? It seems like you've mistaken NSG for Facebook...
"The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did."—former Nixon domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman

A magician summoned by police established that the coconut was innocent, local officials have said. No arrests have been made.

It is unacceptable that a coconut would even consider rigging an election. I have lost all my faith in coconut-anity.

I have to admit, I had my doubts about the coconut's innocence until the magician made his statement.
