Our dear friends, the third wave feminists, have come up with an idea that's guaranteed to go make you go "they're gonna do WHAT?!"

Basically, some feminists have decided that trying to "prevent" menstruation using tampons and such is oppressive to women. Luckily these clever little feminists have come up with a solution: free bleeding. Basically, letting themselves bleed all over the place as a sign of female empowerment. Tampons are a symbol of evil patriarchy after all.

So, what do you think of the concept of free bleeding (if you're a male) and would you consider bleeding all over the place (if you're female)?

I obviously think that this is ridiculous, but I enjoy the fact that fucked up ideas like these destroy the credibility of feminists as awhole. Thus, I must say that I like embrace things new ideas like this.

Sure, you should be allowed to bleed unprotectedly, but you still shouldn't do it, just like farting in a crowded elevator. It's disgusting and rude.

Modern middle and upper class women can bleed only 3-4 times a year if they want without associated health risks, even if they're old and they also drink and smoke, taking certain hormone injections (not the ones that cause infertility and bone problems, those are anticonceptionals, not anti-menstruation things).
