I never decided to "become" an atheist, in fact I was an atheist for about six months before I realised I was one. But I must have been around 21 or 22 when I did.

I became a convinced atheist by age 11.

Well I never knew what an Atheist was until I was at least 13-14, but I had been one since I was at least 8 or 9(or to be even more general, before middle school, because I have a terrible memory.)
