Well yeah.

It's illogical to believe in such. We pave our own routes pretty much. Predestination is a sham... it seems far to delusional to believe in such.

And I'm a dick about it too. >.>

Yeah, it seems.

As far as I can tell the Israeli Right (as other Rights) is pushing the advancement of your people backward in various senses both in and out of Israel, so it is logical.

But in a post-state, post-money, post-class society I think ethnicity doesn't seem like something really to worry about.

Yeah. A second Jewish state achieved democratically not forcefully would be interesting. I would want to see how that would play out. Let's say American, Russian and French Jews move to Iraq en masse. They have large sums of children and dominate a certain area of the country, in turn Jewish politicians get elected. Eventually some of the Arab population will move out because of the Jewish domination and eventually, over time, the Jews will have gained Iraq as a state.

Ethnic Nationalism is bad m'kay.

It only becomes bad when it turns into discrimination and genocide. See: Nazi Germany.

Well some call it a faith, some both, some just a philosophy.

Same situation can be applied to Taoists and Confucians, and other East Asian folk tradi-Oh wait.

I'm an atheist because well... honestly I don't think god(s) exists, and my family was never very religious in the first place. Science was always more appealing even when I was young because it more complex then 'God created the world in 7 days,' and actually seemed more realistic to me at that point. It didn't help that the church I went to was quite boring at times and my parents making me go to that weird church school on weekday nights when I'd rather be at home reading books and such. After a while I was just sitting through church just to get the cookies and donuts after mass, and I was like 'wait, if I don't believe in this stuff, why am I still coming here?' and I never went again after that point.

There is so much to learn from science and its always changing what we know about how the universe works and what its made of. I love learning about how we came to be and where we are going. Religion never provided that for me in a logical way.

A philosophical religion is still a religion, though.

Please elaborate. I see it solely as a philosophy in that it not only makes attempts to outline (key word is outline, not explain) how the universe on the grand scale works. Since it only makes a relatively vague outline, one must find the answers that fill it up. Hence encouraging self philosophizingupon these outlines.

Mad libs, except weird, wonky, and downright confusing at times.

Then I question my sanity. /terrible
