Well they do teach things, that contradict known facts and evidence, so that's a pretty strong indicator. Which is a pretty good reason, not to believe them.

Well to be fair cultural viewpoints had quite a lot to do with the compiling of certain issues.

It is? It always seemed like a pretty easy idea for me, that the truth CAN hurt. Me wishing I was a billionaire, doesn't make me a billionaire.

I had the same problem, but then I realized I won't be there to feel the cold, depressing, loneliness of being dead. Why? Because my consciousness will cease, like an eternal sleep, I won't feel a thing. That's pretty much how I got over it. But that probably doesn't work for everyone.

As would may of us. I just felt, I needed to accept what I believed was true, even if it isn't the most comforting idea.

Culture is the collection of ideas and traditions of a Society. Meaning it was thought of and invented by humans, in that Society.
