Isn't your definition of cultural appropriation very arbitrary? I mean a bit of a google suggests that it originates to a certain sub-culture, namely Southern Hip hop and New Orleans particularly. Depending on the description you want to use has either spread to, or been culturally appropriated by, by artists not from that sub-culture.

Surely it is just as much cultural appropriation for New York, or LA black artists to take it from its Southern roots as it is for a white artist to use it.
