Because discussions between a stoner, an atheist, and a Catholic are always interesting. Especially compared to geometry.

Other than that, the high school experience has been the time of my life!

Time for a questionnaire.

Are you?

If you are, you have discovered the source of your love of high school.

If not, DAFUQ?

That would be interesting. However, our school isn't very diverse. Most people are standard conservative Christians, and the atheists are still conservative, and don't really talk about it much.

We discovered it under the English wing two weeks later. Weird, though, that it managed to get three floors up before coming out.

I've only been out of "high school" (it's called college where I live) for two years. Really shouldn't look back on it with nostalgia yet.

We elected a freshie as our student president, too. Probably mostly because he said he'd put dividers on the urinals. I'd've voted for him, if I ever bothered.

We got compulsory voting at my school. Also, the SRC works like this.

Grade 9 student leaders - September or October
Grade 10-12 student leaders - May
Senior Pin and Watch - March or April
Other roles - appointed in May or filled by staff

The Senior Pin and Watch are really in charge of the committee. And note the plural for the leaders since there are two, it can be two boys, two girls, or one boy and one girl.

I'm going to officially be a senior next week, and it totally feels like the cliche that time has flown by. Overall, I've quite enjoyed high school. It is what you make of it, and I like to think I've made the most of the opportunities I've had.

We're a farming town, so naturally, it's gonna be fairly conservative. Our area is weird in that a few of our rednecks tend to be more atheistic. We still have more religious people in the school, though they aren't usually particularly pious, and nobody really talks about religious beliefs unless directly asked.

Well, considering we have about 400 students, in a K-12 school, it's not completely un-diverse. We have a few NDP supporters and even a pagan. But I think she's the only one.
