Seems I'm a libertarian now, who knew.

Mine was:

We're nearly the same. Except I'm more tender than you, because I'm better.

Political Values

Radicalism 72
Socialism 18.75
Tenderness 53.125

These scores indicate that you are a moderate progressive; this is the political profile one might associate with a university professor. It appears that you are skeptical towards religion, and have a pragmatic attitude towards humanity in general.

Your attitudes towards economics appear laissez-faire capitalist, and combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as libertarian.

To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a centrist with few strong opinions.

This concludes our analysis; we hope you found your results accurate, useful, and interesting.

Unlike many other political tests found on the Internet which base themselves on untested (and usually ideologically motivated) ideas, this inventory is adapted from Hans Eysenck's own political inventory which was developed after extensive empirical investigations in the 20th Century.

eww. I am not a progressive of any kind.

Radicalism 83
Socialism 50
Tenderness 34.375

These scores indicate that you are a tough-minded progressive; this is the political profile one might associate with a liberated atheist. It appears that you are cynical towards religion, and have a suspicious and unsympathetic attitude towards humanity in general.

Your attitudes towards economics appear neither committedly capitalist nor socialist, and combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as a political centrist.

To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a centrist with few strong opinions.

This concludes our analysis; we hope you found your results accurate, useful, and interesting.

Today I learned I've been living a lie. A political test told me I'm a Libertarian, despite how I'm hostile to Libertarianism, so I must have been in denial. But it sure does make me feel good about myself being compared to a university professor.

Same for me, I don't know if I could be described a libertarian; as much as I love the sounding of "laissez faire", I still support a high minimum wage, as well as environmental laws and worker rights.

So you're probably a Social Liberal. The test completely ignores things like minimum wage, environmental laws, public healthcare, and public education, so with those things not taken into consideration anyone close to Social Liberalism will get painted as a Libertarian.

Because everyone has a right to afford the basics for his everyday life.

I wouldn't say my views are that extreme, because I'd never condone forcing anyone to do anything in the spirit of bettering mankind. Basically; pro medicine making humans better and more resilient to disease, and against medicine allowing disease to spread and become more resilient.

So I'm fully for embryonic screening, but completely against the over-prescribing of antibiotics. I'm also against medicine "bypassing" genetic disorders and allowing them to be passed on to further generations. Medicine can better the gene pool without in any way being unethical.

I agree with you there but it actually seems to me that the existence of a minimum wage would hurt workers and be infavor of big business. Although if you believe in a welfare state that would be acceptable because everyone would be provided for. I'm not really for a welfare state though. I definitely wouldn't put you as a libertarian, id say you're a moderate or liberal.

I believe in a safety net, not a nanny state; If you don't want to work then go on and starve.
Plus, I support flat taxation.

I'm extremely libertarian socially, though.
