living in the u.s., i am, as most of us are, of somewhat mixed ancestry.

and i really must insist upon continuing to call for 'white/cucasioan' to be more properly called, as it is, "euro-american".
(as only a very small minority of euro-americans' ancestors actually hail from the cuacases, and pretty much only carcases are "white")

most of my ancestory is a mixture of western and eastern european ethnicities, though my father's mother's mother, was onondagwa.
(native/indigenous americans, being in my book the only true 'americans' who have any legitimate claim to being non-hyphinated)
his linial paternal acestors were the the 'military contractors' (hessian mercinaries) hired by the british for the 'french and indian wars'.
my mothers side of the family were eastern european jews, mostly polish.
that leaves my father's mother's father's branch, who were from scotland.

Depends, there are planty of boards that discuss politics made up of people of color, I'm a member of one, but this community largely attract white people.
