well, America has certainly gotten less racist, but unfortunately there is still some left. I say that this restaurant should be sued to the fullest extent of the law, as well as the patron who wanted them kicked out.

Why does this worry you? By this point most racism in the US is usually in insane rants on forums and dirty looks occasionally given to other ethnicities by racists. I'd say thats good progress from absolute slavery, segregation, and a militant KKK.

In this situation the company was clearly at fault.....however if the company required membership to attend, this would have been acceptable. Because the members make it a place of Private accommodation.
