If the offending offer is rejected, while the other isn't, that's a strong case for unlawful discrimination.

Hell, in Florida, we had a whole agency devoted to that for landlords/renters.

If i had a business today i would just turn the whole thing into a private club membership enterprise, and tell those seeking to dictate what i can and cannot do with my business to go to hell.

Please choose:

a. Burn in eternal hell for participating in said gay wedding

No they aren't. They aren't similar in the least.

No because that wasn't a far off what if. Esentially what happens in these situations is the business keeps getting fined often to a maximum amount (which you claim to be 14k if I'm not mistaken) per incident. I don't think it's a huge leap in logic to assume that other gay couples would seek out this business's services and ultimately via fines adn court fees drive it out of business no matter how much it's worth or what the size of the fine is.

the upside being gifts and donations are non-taxable, so the state loses income too. i wonder how many business doing this it will take before states realize that maybe they should really be careful with how they legislate.

Not sure but i'm guessing they were in the biz well before gay marriage was even being contemplated being legalized anywhere in the US. It seems a tall order to ask some to choose between job and religion.

Yeah... It's clearly not allowed to ban certain groups of people from your shop.

Or would you not mind a photographer refusing to photograph an interracial marriage, purely because it's an interracial marriage?

You do realize that no one has the right to discriminate, right? I mean, you totally can be as bigoted as you like in your personal life, but the United States has already ruled that discrimination as part of business practice is against the law.
