Why the HELL is Jimmy Howard going to the Olympics as opposed to Ben Bishop?

I think he'll get the start for Winter Classic, which is fine by me as a Leafs fan. But if he is going to Sochi instead of Bishop I'll just :palm:

Table update coming tomorrow, for real this time.

In other news, I've eliminated my chances of winning by not predicting in the last few days.

I bet he will get 12 goals a year over the contract, but he isn't the player he was as the Flames where he could steamroll guys and score 20 goals as an NHL rookie. He's not even as accurate as he once was.

He was accurate at one point? Or do you mean that he now shoots pucks in the opposite direction of the opposition's net?

Per year yes, per contract BS.

You are missing out on a bigger picture here. Dion was able to do that because there is always someone who was on his back end named Regehr, so he was able to go for the puck and do his job as offensive Defenseman. In Toronto there is none that can do the job stable enough. Also Phaneuf eats up lots of minutes on his backend and that causes him to decrease in production.

Only two games today. 1/1:

Toronto @ Detroit
Tampa Bay @ Vancouver

As much as I'd love to see Toronto win the Winter Classic, I'm going to go with Detroit, purely based on the last game the two teams played together.

Also, Vancouver.

As of 1:22pm they haven't dropped the puck yet. If it's allowed, I'll pick Detroit, if it doesn't count, so be it.

Da fuck, Winter Classic's too early. I woke up at 11 after the party, the after party, the after-after part. I mean I want my seven hours, and if I'm going to bed at 4... whose fucking idea was it to start the Winter Classic so early? Do these people not know how to after party or something?

I bet they started it early so that they can enjoy longer hours of after-partying into the very next day and so on ;)

Anyways, Leafs win :D
