They mass produce the bills in large batches, so they can print a lot before anybody gets around to testing the quality or sending back defective ones. It's not like they individually printed them and just ignored the problem 30 million times. (If you're ever in DC, the BEP has tours and you can see the machines they use to print the money. It's pretty cool.)

Also, the people that are supposed to be testing the bills at the BEP in Washington have been understaffed. The powers that be were slow and reluctant to replace some people who left (bureaucracy at its finest), and there was also a woman who died recently. I also know about some "office politics" that NSG would have a field day with, but out of respect for the privacy of the people involved, I am not going to post the details.

So NSG what would do?

Donate them to the NSDAP and watch my Nazi brothers get busted for counterfeiting when they try to spend the money.

I'd have a badass game of Monopoly.
Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.
The probability of one's participation in homosexual acts is directly proportional to one's public disdain and disgust for homosexuals.
If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.
Where is your God-Emperor now?

You do realize that between the two printing facilities (one in Forth Worth and one in DC), the Bureau of Engraving and Printing can produced 35 million notes a day, right? It's not that big an error in the long scheme of things.

A big underground base to store them.

$10 million dollars in donations to the NRA as part of one of my ''Piss Off A Liberal Day'' activities in March, and another $10 million for charity.

Some money for my wife to spend. And the left overs which I estimate to be around 1.5 billion dollars for emergency/casual use.

In other words id buy the American dream...

What would things have been like if every security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive? Or if during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? The Organs would quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt!

It is. Twenties come day-in-day-out, but fifties and hundreds are infrequent enough to merit attention.

This is absolutely true. The USA would have collapsed years ago when that scenario would have come to pass, rendering paper money useless in the resulting wastelands of the United States of Apocalypse.
CVT Temp wrote:I mean, we can actually create a mathematical definition for evolution in terms of the evolutionary algorithm and then write code to deal with abstract instances of evolution, which basically equates to mathematical proof that evolution works. All that remains is to show that biological systems replicate in such a way as to satisfy the minimal criteria required for evolution to apply to them, something which has already been adequately shown time and again. At this point, we've pretty much proven that not only can evolution happen, it pretty much must happen since it's basically impossible to prevent it from happening.

You have to fold it the right way, so it's pointy at one end and has wings. Otherwise it just flutters to the ground and doesn't reach the problem.
