Teenagers, ja. Though there are a fair number of us who do like nerdy guys. We're out there, just keep looking.

Added suggestion:

Try looking at the nerdy girls. Every time I hear a guy insist that "girls just like the cool bad-boy dudes," I find it is a safe bet that he, himself, is attracted to cool girls rather than the nerdy awkward girls around him. Which is normal...most of us are attracted to hot people who have style. But it's bullshit to pretend that girls are in any way different from guys in this regard.

No, it's actual advice. You obviously need to work on your flirting skills, and are apparently to uncomfortable with girls to try it on them.

I dont plan on flirting guys, and even if that would be a possibility ones, although a very minor one, Omegle is the definte proof that flirting girls in the way to go :p

I happen to think so as well, but the guys who make claims about how "girls only like bad boys" obviously don't think so. At least that's the only conclusion I can reach based on the fact that they invariably ignore all their nerdy female peers.

Well define "choice" if one is attracted to women then yes there is no choice there. But when you get into seriously draconian qualifications like specific body measurements or nose height or any other sociological measure of female beauty, then that becomes rather arbitrary.

Tell the girl you like her through facebook. I know a couple of people who have actually done that.

It is possible. However, phone or in person is better.

Facebook... maybe for something long distance and you lack her number.

Not really. And neither is it wrong. You like what you like. you don't like what you don't. It is simple. I like my women to be feminine. So what ? It is not like i am saying that all of them should be. It is their choice.

I remember my teen years as an extreme combination of insecurity and arrogance; on the one hand feeling frantically uncomfortable and unsure at all times, but on the other hand being quite certain that my awkward self was entitled to being liked for Who I Really Am(tm).

Turns out that who I really am is obnoxious and off-putting to a great many people. That hasn't changed with time. What has changed is that I no longer feel entitled to have others put up with me, and instead content myself with having a few people in my life whose obnoxiousness runs parallel to my own. :P

Right... so then what miraculously non-arbitrary "feminine" standards are you suggesting are somehow as hard-wired and unflinching as sexual orientation? C'mon, go ahead and get specific we'll let ya.
