Its official, Peter Capaldi is the successor to Matt Smith, the lovable and eccentric eleventh doctor, in the title role of Doctor Who. Despite loving Matt, David Tennant is still my favorite Doctor, and will remain so for some time I believe. At first I could not believe that a 55 year old was succeeding the 30 year old Matt as the doctor, but as soon as I looked into Peter Capali, I immediately grew confident that he would be a good doctor, he has the perfect face for it I think, and looks quite good for 55. Overrall, my initial shock was replaced with quiet confidence at Capaldi's success as the Doctor.

As for my actual views, I'm pro-liberty, anti-democracy, and unsure so far as economic freedoms are concerned. I have reasons for each of these, none of which I shall go into here.

The Doctor should be a little scary. And maybe now we'll have less quasi-romance story threads with the companions.
